Simple origins, big dreams
Geoff McKinnon Pottery Studio is home to a team of artisans and ceramics enthusiasts. Together we share ideas, knowledge, and resources to demonstrate and promote our love of pottery and ceramic ware.
Our story
When the studio first started it had a single mission, to provide functional hand-made dinnerware options for the hospitality industry.
But this quickly expanded to provide a creative environment for like-minded individuals. A place where we can all share ideas and resources cooperatively and fairly.
We started with one wheel and a kiln. Collaborated with others. Experimented and took risks. And learnt from our mistakes. Three decades of testing clay bodies and glazes have paid off.
We can provide a tailored and durable product that suits your needs and style. Our wares handle wear and abuse and will stand the test of time.
In addition to our pottery manufacture, we also share our knowledge and time with others, by hosting pottery workshops and ceramics events and also provide pottery classes in Sydney.
Studio location
Geoff McKinnon Pottery Studio is at Narellan, in New South Wales, Australia.
Narellan is a suburb of South West Sydney. It is located on a stretch of land beneath the Blue Mountains and the Great Dividing Range. Near the suburbs of Camden and Campbelltown and only 60km from the centre of Sydney.
